Termite Tenting

Our new home came with termites.
We did not want termites.
Before we moved in, we got a tent.
Since termites are afraid of the dark, they all left ;-)

Actually, the process was-

  • they showed up at 8AM on Wednesday
  • by 10AM, the house is tented
  • at 11AM, they fill the house with gas
  • at 4PM on Thursday, they came back and removed the tent
  • at 12 noon on Friday, they declared it safe to re-enter

    We were able to move some stuff in before the tent (like furniture, tools, etc...).
