Montalcino

| The next day we drove south to Montalcino, a hilltop town known for its wine production. |

A cute little town, Montalcino had it's share of narrow, steep alleys; and family plaques at the city hall... |  |

It also had a more than a few Enotecas, or wine bars. In fact, it had a lot! We stopped at one and tried the Brunello (George found it very heavy...) |

But the best thing about Montalcino was the ... castle! |
