First stop- Milan- the fashion center of Italy. We stayed at the Grand Visconti Palace, a 4 star hotel. It was very nice (even if they charged $20/day for internet access!) |

The duomo is the 3rd largest in Italy; and is constantly being renovated and preserved. |

These doors were massive! Note that holes in them- they were caused by shrapnel when the square was bombed in WWII. |
