Lasagna Recipe

INGREDIENTS
1 box lasagna
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/4 cu olive oil
1 large jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small can tomato paste
4 cups (2 lbs) ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 tsp fresh chopped parsley
16 oz shredded mozzarella
Grated Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS
1. prepare sauce by-
- sauté garlic and onions in olive oil in nonstick pan
- when cooked, crumble up pork and beef into pan and cook them
- when brown, transfer to a soup pan and add tomato sauce and paste
- simmer and stir until warm and rich
2. meanwhile, boil water in large pot
3. cook noodles and drain
4. mix ricotta, parsley and egg and set aside
5. in a large corning ware pan, layer-
- sauce
- noodles
- ricotta mix
- mozzarella
use about 1/4 sauce, ricotta and mozzarella per layer.
repeat layers until you run out of sauce
6. sprinkle top w/generous amount of parmesan cheese
7. bake at 350 for 45 minutes
8. remove from oven; let stand for 5 minutes; serve!
