Apple Crisp Recipe


Apple Crisp SERVES

INGREDIENTS
apple mix
9 large Granny Smith apples
1/2 c sugar
2 tbs flour
1 tsp cinnamon

topping
1 cup flour
1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup brown sugar

DIRECTIONS
1. peel, core, quarter and slice apples
2. combine sugar, flour and cinnamon and mix throughout apples
3. pour into a large baking dish
4. build topping by combining flour, butter and brown sugar
5. cover apples w/topping
6. bake at 450 for 20 minutes; then 350 for 40 minutes or so. Test for doneness with a fork- when no resistance in the middle, they're done.
7. Serve with vanilla ice cream
