Interior

Access to the new space is via a doorway from the existing garage.  This required a 6' hole in the existing wall...
George and Arnold put up a good fight, but the wall was winning; so George resorted to renting Arnold's beefy big brother to get the job done (and even with this one, it still took 3 hours!)
When the wall finally broke into 2 pieces and fell in the hole, we just lef them there..!
ON 23-dec-02, we poured the floor... we don't get many of these trucks in the driveway- the kids were way impressed!
HERE's the view from the back corner of the garage looking out.  The big pile of "stuff" in the floor is actually hay!  After we cooked up the addition with a propane heater for 2 days to defrost the floor so we could pour it, George got 4 bales of hay to insulate it- this is what 4 bales of hay looks like, spread out!!
And none too soon!  The next day, Christmas eve, we took 10" of snow, giving us a very white christmas!  Here's the view from the road.  Right now, we have a temporary roof of vinyl tarps and plastic.  Installing the flat membrane roof requires temps over 50 degrees and all dry surfaces- and we won't have that until april or may- stay tuned!
Current view of the shop- George built this large, way cool workbench..!
We even have room for the lawn equipment (which is how I sold MJ on the whole concept in the first place!)
