Framing

OUR project was moving again.  The next day (Thursday), we backfilled just in time to avoid a 6" snowfall...
The next day (Friday, 6-dec-02), this load of wood showed up. Except for the siding, this is almost all we'll need to do the garage.
By Monday, 9-dec-02, George had installed the sills and gotten this much framing done!
The meter, up close and personal.  The service line has been moved- it's now encased in new conduit and run over to the new meter (and disconnect); then it goes overhead on a 4x4 beam into the house...
When we finish sheathing, we'll remove the temporary pedestal and permanently attach the meter to the house!
The next day, our buddies Craig and Jim helped George muscle the steel beam into place.  (it actually sounds worse than it was- it only weighed 350 lbs and it took us 10 minutes!)
That weekend, George got the roof rafters on and most of the sheathing.  Here's where it was as of 20-dec-02...
