Day Twenty-One

One major happenings yesterday was that the plumbers finished the repipe madness and hooked up the kitchen sink and drain! We had to repipe the main water supply because we had leaks in the pipes under the slab (we fixed one last year and it was leaking again). The only permanent fix was to get the pipes out of the ground, which we did! So, starting in the boiler room, we ran the pipes up... |

... and over gallery (we'll trim this out to hide it). and then it pops out in the kitchen, where it tees off to supply the kitchen, and heads down the gallery... |

Also turned out that our roofing foam guy Keith Nokes (who did our front roof) was doing a job in the neighborhood and stopped by to patch us up. HERE's Keith spraying foam on the roof... |

Plasterer also finished today- he did a terrific job in only 2 visits! HERE's a shot looking into the family room- he did the wall on the left and the fireplace (and George primed them at 5am today) |
