919 Lundy Lane

Our rental house- boy did we luck out on this one.  MJ was doing the bicoastal commute and trying to find us a temporary place that would do a month-to-month lease AND take a pet... and our realtor found this for us.  Since there were tenants here, MJ couldn't get inside so she rented it as is.  AND, since they're going to rebuild the entire house, no security deposit, no pet hassles, just cash on the barrelhead and move in.
3 bedroom / 2 bath, simple ranch house in a terrific neighborhood in the Loyala Corners region of Los Altos.  When i spoke with the owner about his plans, i asked how much $$$ he wanted for it as-as;  he said he'd "accept" 1.5M (and he was serious!)
When we arrived here, we were very pleasantly surprised to find the place in tip-top shape- it has been very well cleaned and almost everything worked!

HERE's the kitchen, complete w/ 2 burner stove (!) but lots of cabinet space.

Looking the other way, we have a small dining area and french doors out the patio.  (also due to MJ's tremendous foresight, we brought one of our baker racks so we have even more storage!)
The living room is cool; big enough for a train table and 2 couches and a tivo (yes, our directTivo is hooked up- there was a dish on the roof and a drop in the corner of this room!)
The central hallway of the house, looking from the far down towards the living room.
The guest bedroom / computer room.

(ed- AHR3 is now officially open for business and booking reservations thru the rest of the summer)

Master bedroom is a good size and even has french doors out to a private fenced yard- as near as we can tell, someone had a hot tub out there at some point.  we use it as a private yard for Zuni when required
Walk in closet in the master
a nice master bath- this has cathedral ceilings and feels very spacious.
There's a laundry room in back with a door to the back patio- this is terrific for the girls since they live in back!
Jordan and Taylor's private playground- since it won't rain until November and we'll be long gone by then, all their large toys wound up back here.  (also note the kiddie pool at the far end of the patio- this gets used every sunny day that it hits 85 degrees- which turns out to be every day!)
And we got to install our skychair again- we had this in our last rental house in Los Altos about 8 years ago and haven't used it since!

Jordan seems to like it!
