wednesday, 25-jun-2003 0830am george's dad came up to help yesterday and we got some stuff done- then the nail gun broke. We took it to Woburn to the bostitch specialist and he thought he fixed it; but it was still broke when we got home. So, last night george replaced the header by hand. This morning, he finished nailing off the joist hangers and took down the temp wall- check it out! |

| ... where all the wires were being run- turns out they ran lots of service cables up the wall of the mudroom and then thru the joist into the house- they all go right thru where the header is going...so no choice but to relocate them..! |  |

monday, 23-jun-2003 1530pm working on infrastructure- not much different from yesterday- the desk wall got removed, finished ripping sheetrock, relocated the phone and made it work, then i discovered... |

sunday, 22-jun-2003 2005pm that took a while- sheetrock is 97% gone... enuf for today- tomorrow we start relocating wires and then reconstructing the walls! |

sunday, 22-jun-2003 1430pm doors are gone; all trim is gone; desk and bookshelf have been removed (the desk survived; the bookshelf did not...) Next stop- rip all the sheetrock! |
