the Circus
| The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus came to town, and we were there! |

We had heard that if
you showed up early, you could see some animals- and it was true! They had a lot set up behind the arena and lots of animals were on display. |

| They had all kinds of animals out- here's some llamas, goats and camels. |  |

And then we went inside- they opened the doors 1 hour early and everyone was invited to go down on the show floor and watch the performers warm up- so we went down and sat on one of the rings... |

| ...and even an elephant! |  |
 |
Then the show
started. Of course they started with the grand procession around the arena. |
| They had performers on the trapeze. |  |
 |
And they had Bello the clown- a very talented guy who used to be a gymnast and ran around goofing with lots of the performers. |

George's favorites are the stilt guys- at one point, they were running across the arena- very cool! |
|
But, for pure
strength, these guys rule- they're a Mongolian troop and they climb
these poles faster than I climb a ladder! It was an awesome
display of pure muscle power. We had a great day at the circus- can't wait until next year! |
