| overview | Scooby has lived in this house for 3+ years and is well house-broken as long as he can go outside. The GoldFish ("Jaws") has been here since Sep '08 and it requires almost Zero maintenance. |
| food & water | fill Scoob's bowl twice a day. The dog food is in the bag in the cupboard nearest the dog bowl. if there's still food left, just add more. Scooby drinks a lot! empty and refill the water bowl twice a day The FISH gets fed once a day. It eats VERY little. Basically, just add 1 flake of food / fish every day and it'll be fine. NB- he likes when you talk to him- we call him "Jaws" and he gets a kick out of that. |
| Meds | Scoob gets 5 (FIVE) "green-um" pills a day- you can find them on the counter. These stop him from peeing on the law and creating new marks... At this point, Scoob thinks they're treats and eats them willingly. |
| walks | optional. Scooby enjoys them, but not required. |
| the dog park... | ...happens Saturdays, Sundays and holidays at 9AM at Argonaut School, Saratoga, CA. Lots of dogs running off-lead in the yard behind the school. Introduce yourself to the old guy with the hat (George)- he organized this 30+ years ago and it's still going strong. Bring scooby on the death collar and bring poop bags- owners are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. |
| treats | Frosty Paws dog ice cream in freezer . Refills available at Gene's Market. |
| vet | Adobe Animal Hospital 396 1st St. Los Altos, CA. (650) 948-9661 Note- Scooby is registered with Mary Austin as the owner. |
| when you go out | Scooby can be locked inside
the house for up to 6 hours if you secure the
perimeter! - close all the sliders - close doors to bedrooms - insert the dog door |
| when you return | Scooby will be crazy to see
you. I usually lead him over to the kitchen slider and take him outside immediately and let him run around and relieve himself... |
