| when | what | notes |
| 6:15am - 7:30am | wake up | we usually give them a beverage (juice) soon after they get up. |
| 8:15am - 9:00am | breakfast | typically they don't eat much breakfast; we try to give them milk with all meals; hot (warm) chocolate milk has been their favorite as of late. |
| 9:00am - 12:30pm | playtime | arts and crafts; swimming; skating; etc… |
| 12:30 - 1:15pm | lunch | usually their big meal of the day; they eat lots here. |
| 1:30 - 2:00pm | story time | sit in our bed and read books |
| 2:00pm - 4:00pm | naptime | Taylor usually sleeps well; Jordan can be
hit-and-miss. If Taylor is freaking out and doesn't want to go to bed, put her in bed and leave; then return in a few minutes after she's calmed down and tuck her in. If Taylor wakes up before Jordan and is making a lot of noise, quietly get her out of there- Jordan does much better when she wakes up on her terms instead of being woken up. |
| 4:00pm - 6:00pm | playtime | they usually get juice when they wake up and a small snack (crackers or whatever) |
| 6:00pm - 7:00pm | dinner | they don't eat a ton at dinner; serve milk and don't worry about it. |
| 7:00pm-7:30pm | wind down | mr tivo or a video tape works here |
| 7:30pm - 8:00pm | get ready for bed | get cleaned up (bath every 3 days) brush teeth (daily) pull-ups and sleepers read books tuck them in. |
| overnight | they're noisy sleepers; oftentimes they'll make noises and/or fuss a bit, then just go back to sleep. In that case, best to ignore them. If they persist, go in and figure out what's wrong; most of the time it's: (1) they've wet thru and need a new pull-up; (2) we forgot to take out their "hair thing"; (3) they lost one of their animal friends ("blue dog", "foof", etc...) |
