Christmas

Caky and Joepa came out for 2 weeks at Christmas this year. And they were 2 of the busiest weeks we had all year. HERE's some cookies the girls made and decorated just to get in the spirt. |

Right after they arrived, we went up to Cynthia and Jeff's house up the hill to have Christmas dinner with them. We brought a bottle of wine, but they couldn't find their opener, so we had to resort to a large sheetrock screw and vice grips. We were successful...! |

The girls also did a piano recital that week. They did GREAT! We were all terrifically proud of them! |

On Christmas eve, we left a snack for Santa and his reindeer. ] Then the girls were tucked into bed with orders to sleep until 6:00AM... |

[ed- around 4AM, George heard some noises by the tree and went out to find 2 girls scurrying around. He sent them back to bed until 6 HERE's our tree, post santa and before the young ladies have attacked it. |

By 7, I had the cinnabons and coffe built; and the girls ran around and woke everyone up. HERE's Jordan with a new build-a-bear... |

The rest of us were busy cleaning up from christmas. [ed- we were successful; all presents were open by 10; the tree down and cleaned up by 12; and packing for maui done by dinner time!] Next stop- Maui! |
