Los Altos Pet Parade

This year all the kids from Montecito School were invited to march
in the annual Los Altos pet parade. We'd done this several
times before (with Caesar and Zuni); and it was time for Scoob to
join the club. HERE's a smattering of the Montecito kids that showed up. |

This affair is lots of fun and total pandemonium. Besides
dogs, there are cats, fish, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, etc... HERE's some of the pre-parade pandemonium |

They close off Main Street and the locals line both sides of the circular parade route. Since there's only one fire department and one band, they just keep circling as pets jump in and out ;-) |
