The Girls Learn To Ski

After we rediscovered skiing this year, we knew we had to get the girls on the snow. So over MLKjr weekend '09, we rented a place in Truckee and went up for 4 days. HERE's the ladies ready to enter the Northstar ski school for the first time ever! |

First you need proper gear- here the girls get fitted for boots. Then off they went... |

We didn't see them again until 4 that afternoon. HERE's Taylor returning from the lift...! She was one happy camper! |

On the third day, the girls wanted to ski with us, so we went over to Tahoe-Donner. They have 2 (count 'em!) lifts and 2 magic carpets. HERE's Jordan and MJ getting ready. |

| Near the end of the day, we all took the Quad lift up to the top. |  |

The crew up at the top- what a view! [ed]this turned out to be one of the last runs of the day- this was actually a Blue and very icy and the no one had fun getting down it. But the girls were troopers- they immediately jumped on the double chairs for a couple of more runs. |

The last day of the weekend, we had to head home.. but not before some SnowPlay! HERE's one of the 2 sledding tracks @ tahoe-donner. This was basically just moguls built from ice, but the girls loved it. |

They even convinced George to take a run with them! ALL in all, a totally excellent weekend was had by all! |
