  • naps are infrequent (1-2x per week); they can go until 7 or 8 at night w/o one.
  • they eat everything- jordan loves carbs; taylor loves steak
  • they still wear pullups at night and for naps- other than that, everyone's dry.
  • skating has been replaced w/dancing
  • they love tv (when we let them watch)- they pause DVDs and tivo for potty breaks.
  • Everyone can browse to PBSKids or Disney or HitEntertainment.

  • Everyone knows the alphabet and recognizes their names and "mom" and "dad"
  • they both count to 20+
  • they still take a 2 hour nap (almost) every afternoon
  • they eat everything
  • still swimming and skating every week
  • they love books and VHS tapes- they can start the TV and VCR by themselves, rewind tapes, etc...

  • they go swimming, skating and gym-jamming every week
  • they love books, especially Maisy and hop-a-hop (hop-on-pop)

    • the girls were great sleepers until they had colds and their molars started coming in.  Although most nights they still sleep from 7pm to 7am - woohoo!
    • they're no longer nursing and instead drinking cow's milk and they eat grown up foods like raviolis and grilled cheese.
    • Jordan has 11 teeth and Taylor has 10
    • They are both standing and taking steps with help from mom and dad.
    • they are still swimming and can't wait until summer when they can swim outside.

  • they've started looking at books instead of just chewing on them.

    • they sleep great! They go to bed at 7pm and sleep until 6:30 or 7:00 am.
    • they're eating 3 solid food meals a day, and their diet includes rice cereal, bananas, pears, applesauce and sweet potatoes..!
    • Taylor has 2 teeth, Jordan has 4.
    • both of them are semi-mobile; they roll from place to place to get stuff
    • Taylor loves the "Johnny-Jumpup"; she'll play with it for hours if we let her.

    Jordan 13 lb, 10 oz  
    • they've been ferber-ized. We separated them at night for 2 weeks and let them fuss progressively longer until they figured out how to calm themselves. Now they go to bed (peacefully!) at 7pm and sleep until 4 or 5am. MJ is looking much more rested, thanks..!
    • they're still taking 100% breast milk- they don't seem real interested in rice cereal yet. Plan is to wean them in July.

    • they're sleeping more at night; typically they get fed around 9pm and then sleep until 3am, so MJ's getting some sleep (but not enough)

    • Taylor and Jordan are both over their birth weight and eating like little pigs!
    • MJ is feeling much better and even ate a steak this week!
    • we're all getting some sleep!
    • Carol is going home monday and will be sorely missed, but her sister Mary shows up Tueday to give us a hand for a week!

    • everyone got home last night.
    • MJ is feeling better and is keeping semi-solid food down... definite progress from sunday nite ;-)
    • Taylor is a pro at breast feeding.
    • Jordan is home and doing great. she's been doing a bottle for the last week and so isn't real good at breastfeeding yet, but we're working it...
    • Carol got to sleep all night last night- woo-whoo!
    • george got 3 hours sleep; 20 minutes at 1215am; 18 minutes at 245am, 15 minutes at 6am, etc... ;-)

    • MJ has graduated to solid food and her GI tract is working- she's scheduled to be released some time late today.
    • Taylor had a good night and is taking breast milk well- she's coming home today also.
    • Jordan is a great eater! she took 75ml of milk this morning then promptly went to sleep. She's scheduled to be released tomorrow (monday).

    • Taylor has been rooming-in with MJ for the last 3 days. She's going 3-4 hours between feedings and feeds well.
    • Jordan has been moved from the NICU into the Intermediate Care Nursery and she's doing great! Her respiration is fine and she can control her own body temperature. She's a great eater and has started gaining weight. Latest report sez she'll be done with her antibiotics by monday and she can come home then.
    • MJ is getting out of bed regularly but is still has some pain. Hopefully she'll graduate to solid food tomorrow. She's scheduled to be released some time late Sunday.
