We stayed at the Grand Wailea Resort in Wailea, Maui; and what a place it was..! |

You drive up under a canopy of trees, all covered in lights and aglow at night. |
| Then you drive by a beautiful man-made waterfall that goes on and on... |  |
 |
And the hotel is right on the water (what else..?) |

And, of course, everything is impeccably finished and maintained. Their lawns put most golf course fareways (and some greens) to shame. |
| The pools are surrounded by rows and rows of chaise lounges. Turns out you have to hold onto pool towels from the day before and show up at 6:30AM to reserve the better seats. Caky figured this out ;-) |  |
